At some point in our lives we will suffer heartbreak from a loved one, friend or colleagues. The word breakup is never sweet in the ears and sometimes it isn’t easier for the one going through it. so what do you do?
Here are some tips to help you bounce back to normal like a pro.
Acceptance: You need to come into agreement with the idea that you and this person are no more friends or whatever ties bind you two. Stop with the hopes of getting back together. Instead seek closure with family or start reading inspiring books to help you get through it.
- Discard things that bring flashback. This include deleting them from all social media like Facebook, remove their numbers from your phone, photos, gifts, music or anything. The truth is that you don’t need any reminder.
- Reconnect with good old friends or meet new people. Ensure your friends are encouraging and don’t stay in self-pity all the time.
- Don’t quickly jump into another relationship, take your time to heal. You may see your ex with someone else. please my dear, don’t be moved by this drama. It is simply a rebound. Most rebound relationship have an expiring date and don’t last.
Focus on you and enjoy your time doing things you love. Add value to yourself by taking up some skills or lesson, go enjoy yourself by doing some hobbies.
