“FOR GOD’S SAKE!”

And GOD said, ‘Let there be light,’ and there was light.”Genesis 1:3 ~NKJVJesus’ first words in the Bible were four words:“Let there be light.” “All things were made by Him; and without Him was not anything made that was made.”

(John 1:3) “For by Him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers – all things were created by Him, and for Him;”

(Colossians 1:16)John tells us that Jesus created all things—in the beginning: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with GOD, and the Word was GOD.” (John 1:1)Colossians 1:16 tells us that He created all things for His own sake!

May be an image of sky and text that says "You made the heavens, even the highest heavens, the seas and all that is in them. and all their starry host, the earth and all that is on it, You alone are the LORD. Nehemiah 9:6"

We look at all creation and we say, “GOD is good!” But, many times we do not acknowledge Him. He, so much, wants to tell us, “I’m here for you!” Some people would actually prefer that there was no GOD. But His creation shouts out to us that there is GOD! No one will have any excuse for not knowing Him!“

For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, because, although they knew GOD, they did not glorify Him as GOD,” (Romans 1:20, 21a)

The Apostle John says of Him, “He was in the world, and though the world was made through Him, the world did not recognize Him.” (John 1:10)We fuss and are discouraged as we look at our world. But we need to remember what GOD saw: “And GOD saw that it was good.” (Genesis 1:10b).

If we look for what GOD saw, then we’ll begin to have a Godly outlook on what He created for us!“The glory of the LORD shall endure forever: the LORD shall rejoice in His works.” Psalm 104:31
